Wedgelock couplers |
 |
The basic principle of the Wedgelock autocoupler comprises the wedging of the mechanical coupler lock.
On mechanical coupling, the coupler hooks are automatically engaged and then locked into position. In the event of air failure, the wedges are held in position by spring pressure thereby maintaining full and safe coupling.
The pneumatic and electric connections are established automatically when coupling.
The simple and proven design of the wedgelock coupler ensures optimum reliability at a highly competitive price.
